  The Berkeley Lab Guest House is conveniently located on the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory campus and features 57 tastefully appointed guest rooms. You will find "a home away from home" at the Guest House.

  The Bay View Cafeteria is located in building 54.  They specialize in corporate and campus restaurants, distinctive community dining, and provide exceptional catering services for Berkeley Lab customers.

• Fleet Services

  The Facilities Division currently maintains a fleet of over 260 vehicles utilized both on and off site throughout all divisions. Vehicles are leased, replaced and maintained by the U.S. General Service Administration (GSA).

  Mail Services is the Laboratory's central mailing and distribution service. We pick up, sort and deliver the Laboratory's USPS Mail, International Mail, and Interoffice Mail both on and off site. We are located on-site at Building 69 at the north end of the loading dock.

  All Facilities work at Berkeley Lab is required to undergo a process that includes plan review, permitting, and inspection.

• Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Preparations

  Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Preparations are brought on for Berkeley Lab safety when it may be necessary to turn off electricity during very dry and windy conditions, combined with a heightened fire risk.

• Shipping and Receiving

  The Shipping and Receiving Department is located in Building 69. The group manages the logistics of all incoming and outgoing materials at the Laboratory. Shipping requests must be made through the Netship system by trained requesters.

• Shuttles

  LBNL currently has modified shuttle service – during shuttle service hours (5:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.), staff can request a shuttle to pick-up and drop-off riders at existing shuttle stops.

• Utilities

  Utilities Services supports Berkeley Lab by using data analysis and building technology to improve efficiency and reliability of building systems and site utilities. The aim is to reduce energy and water use, improve building automation systems, provide design and design review services, optimize utility procurement, manage Facilities assets, and support daily operation.
