Maintenance
The Fleet office handles vehicle maintenance and will coordinate service through the vehicle custodian. To report service needs email fleet@lbl.gov or ext 5475.
Fueling
The LBNL fuel dispensing station is located at the lower level of Building 76. The fuel dispensing station carries unleaded, E85, and diesel fuel. Each LBNL vehicle that uses fuel is provided with a fuel card used to unlock the fuel dispenser. Users will need to slide the fuel card, select the correct fueling pump, and enter their current vehicle mileage in order to dispense fuel.
Car Wash Request
GSA leased vehicles are eligible for a car wash once a month and is assigned a specific WEX (Wright Express) Credit Card to use for offsite car washes. Car wash includes exterior wash, interior vacuum and wipe down, windows cleaned inside & out (This pertains primarily to sedans and vans. Trucks are limited to single rear wheels and no ladder/equip racks). The WEX card must be returned after use.
To make an offsite car wash request, please email fleet@lbl.gov 24 hours in advance of notice and include the following information: (1) the GSA vehicle license number and, (2) current odometer

Directions to use WEX Card at Broadway Carwash
The WEX Card can be swiped at the pump or used in the station office.
- When asked for Driver ID, enter the license number (no alpha characters, numbers only)
Example: G13-1627V, Driver ID would be 131627 - When asked for the odometer, enter the current miles on the odometer (no tenths)
- If the credit card charge for the car wash is denied, please ask the attendant to enter the transaction code 102.
Note: If you experience any issues using the WEX card, please try several times. If the issues persist, call the number on the back of the WEX card.
