The Seismic Status Lookup database allows Lab employees to find the status of earthquake building evaluations at the Lab. This includes assessment timelines, key findings, assigned building seismic ratings, and the status of seismic hazard mitigation activities. Stay informed about the structural integrity of your workplace and ongoing efforts to ensure safety and readiness for re-entry. When a building is evaluated, it is assigned a rating of “Good”, “Fair”, “Poor”, or “Very Poor”, as defined in the University of California’s University Policy on Seismic Safety. The Lab is currently engaged in mitigating the identified hazards, with priority given to the buildings with VI ratings.
