Welcome to the ENERISK support site. This page provides information, training, and support for ENERISK users. ENERISK is Berkeley Labs new tool for collecting information and data for electrical assets at Berkeley Lab.
What is ENERISK?
Operating using Maximo’s DataSplice, ENERISK is an application that facilitates field validation of electrical asset data in Maximo. A comprehensive list of recommended attributes, categorized by equipment classification (e.g. Transformer, Panel, etc..) has been developed to guide data collection.
Key Features Include:
- Visual Documentation: Capture and associated photos with assets, accessible directly within Maximo
- GPS location: Record GPS coordinates for easy future retrieval
- QR Code Association: Ability to associate QR Codes for streamlined retrieval of assets during future walkdowns
How do I use ENERISK?
Getting Access to ENERISK
Currently only field verification will be limited to individuals in Facilities Engineering and Maintenance departments.
Contact Vijay Kongara (vkongara@lbl.gov) to request access to the field validation security group (FAC_DS_VALID).

Frequently Asked Questions
Why can’t I find the asset I just created?
If the newly created asset does not meet the existing search criteria post save, it will drop from the listview after save.
I updated the classification and I want to view the old specification attribute values?
Specification history can be viewed in the Maximo Assets application. To access this information on the asset record, navigate to More Actions > View > View Asset Specification. Once in the dialog box, update the ‘As of’ field to a past date and time.
How do I Update the Specification Attributes?
The specification attributes are updated in Maximo and require an engineering review approval to update.
