Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory currently maintains a fleet of over 260 vehicles utilized both on and off site throughout all divisions. Government plate vehicles are leased, replaced, and maintained by the U.S. General Service Administration (GSA). Government vehicles are for official business use only.
Fleet vehicle custodians are responsible for meeting the minimum requirements found under the resource toolbox.
All drivers assume personal responsibility for the following:
- safe driving and operation of government vehicles
- compliance with all Federal, State, and local (including LBNL) laws and regulations
- all accident reporting requirements
- possess a valid US driver’s license
